Midnight in Samarra: The True Story of WMD, Greed, and High Crimes in Iraq

Presents an autobiographical account within a larger publishing series called Hot Books, known for its condensed, provocative, and muckraking content that challenges mainstream narratives. The author recounts their experiences as a military intelligence agent in Iraq, detailing allegations of war crimes, including torture and prisoner abuse at facilities like Abu Ghraib, and the cover-up attempts by their command. The narrative also touches on the geopolitical motivations behind the war, such as oil interests and clandestine weapons deals, and the author's personal journey from their unconventional upbringing to their military career and the lasting impact of their wartime experiences. The text underscores the importance of accountability for powerful entities and the destructive cycle of violence and deceit.
