Ep 117. The Skull in the Desert

Break out your desert attire — this week we’re trying to unravel the mystery around Angela’s part-time lover, who has unfortunately become just a dusty skull. But don’t be sad! Because, guess what? Michaela Conlin is here to discuss this Angela-centric episode — including the heartbreak her character was feeling. Emily and Michaela talk about peyote and Palmdale (the rare overnight shooting location) and unpack why this episode was a turning point for the friendship between Brennan and Angela. You’ll get all that plus Emily and Carla’s signature look at a case filled with mystical visions, counterfeit bills and slack-jawed coyotes.
