Billy the Kid - Murder, burning building and prison escapes

From Bloomin' Legends with Johnny Vaughan & Gavin Woods Global

Welcome back to Bloomin’ Legends!

This week, Johnny Vaughan and Gavin “The Woodman” Woods head into the dust, gun smoke and tall tales of the American frontier to take on one of the Wild West’s most mythologised outlaws, Billy the Kid.

Billy became the teenage gunslinger at the heart of the Lincoln County War, a scrappy, chaotic conflict that turned New Mexico into a battlefield of rival gangs, dodgy lawmen and very twitchy trigger fingers.

Johnny and Gav separate fact from frontier fiction, and ask whether Billy the Kid was a cold-blooded killer… a product of a lawless land… or just history’s most successful teenage PR campaign.
