How Liverpool can get the best out of Takumi Minamino & what the Premier League could be getting in Patson Daka

As Takumi Minamino’s loan spell with Southampton comes to an end, Matt Addison explores the Japan international’s future at Anfield, and if he has one, how do Liverpool get the best out of him? To help Matt do that, he speaks to Tom Middler from excellent Austrian football podcast The Other Bundesliga (@OtherBundesliga), who gives an insight into what made Minamino such an exciting prospect at Red Bull Salzburg. Minamino played at Salzburg alongside Erling Haaland before the goalscoring sensation’s departure to Borussia Dortmund. Haaland has been successfully replaced at the Red Bull club by Patson Daka, who having been extensively linked to Liverpool, now seems set for Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City. So what have Liverpool potentially missed out on? And what are Leicester and the Premier League getting in Daka?
