Blood Red: Pre-season opener | A Champions League final without Liverpool | Barcelona fire sale

Barcelona have placed most of their squad up for sale after their Champions League humiliation – including Luis Suarez and possibly another former Liverpool star, Philippe Coutinho, who of course stepped off the bench to score twice in Bayern Munich’s 8-2 drubbing of his parent club. So the latest Blood Red podcast decides to play a bit of fantasy football and ask which Barca player you bring to Anfield. But before then there’s the Champions League final, between Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain to preview, plus a look ahead to last season’s winners Liverpool’s opening pre-season friendly with Stuttgart. Enjoy all that and more with Sean Bradbury, Connor Dunn, Dan Kay and Caoimhe O’Neill. The Liverpool Echo sends a twice-daily Liverpool FC bulletin out via email with the all latest news, views and analysis from Anfield.
