Blood Red: Man City draw underlines Liverpool's Wijnaldum reliance as Firmino and Jota examined

After Liverpool drew 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday, how should Jurgen Klopp reflect on the game? Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson both impressed in the centre of the park in a midfield two, as Liverpool went with the bold front four of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino. But how should each of their performances be analysed? Wijnaldum's contract is still to be renewed and he looks set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the year, but this was yet another showing that proved his class. Firmino, too, who has been criticised in some quarters of late, looked excellent, particularly out of possession and in the first 45 minutes, but he tired second half and was replaced by the resurgent Xherdan Shaqiri. Join Guy Clarke, Ian Doyle, Paul Gorst and Matt Addison as they breakdown the result and performance and what it all means heading into the last international break of 2020.
