Peeples Challenges Carns for Alabama House Seat

Assistant United States Attorney Lloyd Peeples, with a background in federal prosecution and business ownership, is challenging incumbent Representative Jim Carns for the Alabama House of Representatives District Forty-Eight seat. Peeples, who began his public service career in 2003, has handled complex cases and aims to create laws that hold criminals accountable and support law enforcement. Carns, an engineering graduate and six-term representative, chairs several committees and represents a district with nearly 48,000 residents. The election promises a contest between distinct backgrounds and priorities. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story. AI powered.
