Florida Man Arrested for Child Sex Abuse Material

Karl Davis Staton, a 45-year-old man from Bradford County, Florida, was arrested on charges of possessing child sexual abuse material and unlawfully using a communication device. The arrest was part of a statewide effort by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to combat online child exploitation. The investigation began in September after FDLE received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about online storage accounts containing child abuse material.
