Alabama's New ESA Program: Apply Now

Alabama introduces a new website for the CHOOSE Act, offering Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs) to families. These accounts provide tax credits for school tuition, tutoring, and other educational expenses. The application portal opens in December 2025 for existing families and January 2026 for new families, with award notifications in April 2026. Governor Ivey praises the program, which initially serves low-income families but expands to all families in 2027.
