Laughing at All the Wrong Things
A sex swing from a hoarder's house, a 12-foot alligator, and Kurt Cobain conspiracy theories. Just another perfectly normal day aboard the Billified Pirate Ship. Bill and Dan dive headfirst into America's favorite competitive sport: being offended. From Shane Gillis and the comedy police to the strange things we laugh at when we probably shouldn't, the guys wonder whether society has lost its sense of humor—or just its damn mind. Then there's a Florida fisherman, a hungry alligator, and a rescue attempt involving traffic cones. Yes, traffic cones. And somehow, this leads to a surprisingly thoughtful conversation about tragedy, empathy, and why our brains sometimes find humor in the unthinkable. Plus, did Kurt Cobain's death make him immortal? Are conspiracy theories really about finding the truth, or do we just love a great story? And can a former radio loudmouth actually learn to shut up long enough to become a good therapist? Dark humor, uncomfortable questions, rock-and-roll rabbit holes, and just enough enlightenment to make you question your own sanity. It's Billified. Get your pod on!
