Seeing the World Through Young Eyes - Artistic Swimming, Music, Dance & Big Dreams with Zahra and Elyas

In this special and heartwarming episode of Billifiedt, Bill switches things up and sits down with two of his favorite guests—his niece Zahra (13) and nephew Elyas (11)—for an insightful, funny, and genuinely refreshing conversation from the perspective of today’s youth.

Bill chats with Zahra about her passion for artistic swimming (yes, it’s no longer called synchronized swimming—news to Bill!) and her goals both in and out of the pool. He also dives into Elyas’s impressively packed schedule, which includes multiple styles of dance, playing the French horn, and even the ukulele.

The conversation spans far beyond extracurriculars, touching on their incredible travels around the world, favorite destinations, and how those experiences have shaped how they see the future. From creative pursuits to big-picture dreams, Zahra and Elyas offer thoughtful, optimistic perspectives that prove the next generation is in very good hands.

It’s a fun, candid, and uplifting episode full of laughs, curiosity, and a little family banter—though Bill somehow forgot to ask about his sister and what happens when she really gets mad. (There’s always next time.) Enjoy!
