Murder-for-Hire, Ghost Adventures Scandal & ChatGPT’s First Date Plan CONDENSED

In this packed episode of Billified: The Bill Moran Podcast, Bill welcomes Kevin back to the studio for a wild ride of laughs, shock, and heartfelt reflection. The episode kicks off with some weekend banter before Bill dives into a strange pickup truck encounter featuring a handwritten sign that reads, “If it’s alive, we’ll kill it!”—possibly an exterminator… or something more sinister?

That leads into a jaw-dropping true crime twist involving Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin and his wife Victoria, who shockingly plotted to have him murdered. Bill unpacks the bizarre details of how she found the would-be hitman—and how little time she may actually serve.

Deputy Brendan Hurley from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office joins to discuss summer festivals, police collaboration, and what the Sheriff’s boat unit was doing at Fairport Canal Days. The conversation turns intense when murder-for-hire cases are brought up, along with the tragic story of a missing five-year-old boy who vanished into the Genesee River.

Then comes a chilling moment—Deputy Hurley shares a shocking discovery he made while diving in the Erie Canal that leaves Bill and Kevin speechless.

The episode also pays tribute to Rochester Amerks legend Scott Metcalfe, who passed away at just 58. Bill reflects on Scott’s larger-than-life personality, and Coach Fischer remembers his immense impact on youth hockey and the Rochester community.

Finally, Kevin introduces Bill to calling ChatGPT by phone. They test it live on air—and Kevin hilariously reads a first date plan generated by the AI. Bill’s impressed, Kevin’s horrified, and somehow the idea of a “Randi-vue” takes shape!

Whether you’re here for crime, comedy, community, or crazy AI date ideas—this episode has something for everyone.
