He's Why Rochester Is a Comedy City

What happens when comedians become the last people allowed to tell the truth?

Bill sits down with Comedy at the Carlson's Mark Ippolito for a hilarious, behind-the-scenes conversation about building Rochester's first-ever comedy festival, booking comedy legends, bombing on stage, surviving the pandemic, cancel culture, and why laughter might be the one thing we all desperately need.

Along the way they swap stories about Andrew Dice Clay, Tim Meadows, BJ Shea, Daisy Dukes, the insanity of COVID restrictions, Pride, why comics are some of the smartest people in the room, and how a comedy festival is raising money for local cancer organizations.

It's funny, nostalgic, occasionally controversial, and proof that sometimes the best therapy is sitting around with your funniest friends laughing until you can't breathe.

Comedy isn't dying... it's fighting back.
