Futon Fumble

In this episode of Billified: The Bill Moran Podcast, Bill and Dan dive into the highs and lows of the NFL season, starting with some surprising game outcomes. But remember, it's just one game! Dan takes issue with the Buffalo Bills beat writers who flip-flopped on their predictions for the Bills-Dolphins game, while Bill and Dan dissect the play that led to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion. Should Tua continue playing? Dan believes the decision is solely Tua's to make.

On the home front, Bill shares the misadventures of getting a futon for his 14-year-old son, an ordeal that may have landed him on a stranger’s social media feed! Plus, America’s obesity epidemic hits a new high, sparking some "fat state" jokes, and Bill and Dan debate a school district's controversial decision to take families to small claims court over unpaid lunch bills—despite a church's attempt to clear the debts.

In music news, the band Jane's Addiction had an on-stage meltdown, prompting Bill to ask Dan about band dynamics and volume wars, something Dan has experienced firsthand. Jameson drops by the studio to give his hilarious take on the futon fiasco, capping off an episode full of sports, laughs, and a little bit of chaos. Enjoy the ride!
