Armand Schaubroeck

Bill sits down with the co-founder of the legendary and world renowned Great House of Guitars, Armand Schaubroeck. The conversation is much like navigating the aisles of the H.O.G., a bit all over the place, but filled with absolute treasures. You will learn about Armand’s growing up, his run in with the law, how that shaped him, how they started the business and made it different from other guitar shops, and of course his mother with patience of a saint! You will also learn about his friendship with Andy Warhol and how that came to be, his art work and other creative endeavors. Armand wrote a rock opera, which Andy was interested in and others played all three hours on radio air waves. Learn about his run for New York State Senate in the early 70’s and how he was perceived by the establishment. And of course lot’s of talk about the legendary Great House of Guitars in this fascinating one on one with Armand Schaubroeck. Enjoy!
