Draft & Roster Construction w/ Giants.com’s John Schmeelk

Dan and Nick are joined by friend of the show and multi-time guest John Schmeelk of Giants.com. Before diving into the 2024 NFL Draft prospects, and 30,000-foot view questions like whether or not the Giants should trade up, they discuss the current roster construction including but not limited to players like Cor’Dale Flott, Evan Neal, Jason Pinnock, Jermaine Jermaine Eluemunor, and more. They also discuss positions of need and where the Giants roster is at with certain positions. Finally, they transition to the draft with John breaking down his thoughts on the QB position, what prospects he’d be willing to draft at No. 6 overall and whether or not a trade up in Round 1 or back into Round 1 makes sense for the franchise. Then, they discuss the WR class – not only the big three but also John’s favorite Day 2 sleepers and targets for the Giants. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
