Exile on Badstreet #31: Memphis Madness 1977-81 Featuring Scott Bowden

Kris Zellner is joined by Scott Bowden (Kentucky Fried Wrestling) to discuss the key people and feuds of Jarrett Promotions in Memphis from the Summer of 1977 to the end of 1981. Scott of course is one of the best managers ever to work the territory and was a fan for many years before he became a performer so he brings a great insight to all the major figures that came through Memphis at this time. We discuss Jerry Lawler’s power as a babyface and a heel, the emergence of Austin Idol, Bill Dundee, Tommy Rich, Jimmy Valiant, and many many more.
