Ep. #162: Aug. 22-28, 1989 with Bruce Mitchell & Scott Passner

Kris & David are joined by Bruce Mitchell (Pro Wrestling Torch) & Scott Passner for this special Patreon $100.00 requested show discussing the week that was August 22-28, 1989. Scott tells us why he picked this week in particular and why he wanted Bruce as a guest before we delve into the NWA and how they followed up the debacle from the week before where they aired the wrong episode of World Championship Wrestling; plus Bruce tells some great Chris Cruise stories and we also talk about Rick Steiner's date with Robin Green. We then discuss Koji Kitao showing up at ringside for New Japan's show at Korakuen Hall, Lioness Asuka retiring for the first time, UWA in Mexico with loaded cards, Eric Embry running wild in Dallas, and SummerSlam ’89.
