Josh Allen Magic and Week 1 Overreactions

Pat Boyle and Brad Evans run through rapid-fire takeaways from the rest of a wild Week 1 slate, starting with Josh Allen’s four-touchdown thriller in Houston to lead the Bills over the Texans 36–31. The guys crown Allen as the premier quarterback in football after dismantling an elite Houston defense, while Brad plants his flag on Chris Olave following a monster 182-yard performance despite New Orleans' heartbreaking overtime defeat against Detroit. Pat warns Lions fans that no lead is safe after Dan Campbell's defense surrendered 30 unanswered points and nearly choked away a 21-point cushion, before the crew caps the rundown by praising Cincinnati's swarming four-turnover defensive showing over Tampa Bay, Baltimore’s commanding blowout behind Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, and a breakout two-touchdown game from Carolina rookie receiver Jalen Coker.
