DAVID ARCHULETA (on American Idol, Coming Out, Mental Health, Miley Cyrus & Masked Singer)

David Archuleta steps Behind The Rope. David is here to chat about his journey from a small town Utah teen, to being thrust into the spotlight at just sixteen and finishing second on American Idol to his recent appearance as Macaw on the juggernaut The Masked Singer where he, once again, finished second. David candidly opens up about his struggles with coming out, the role his faith played in those struggles, a much needed hiatus from the biz to discover himself, reconciling his faith with who he truly is, the media’s obsession with his dating life and the lows he hit growing up on a massive stage, both figuratively and literally, while trying to figure it all out. On a lighter note, we chat working with Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana, “celebrity” and his catchy new song, “Faith In Me” which is bound to be one of the songs of the summer. On that note, cue music and press play! @davidarchie @behindvelvetrope @davidyontef BONUS & AD FREE EPISODES Available at - www.patreon.com/behindthevelvetrope BROUGHT TO YOU BY: HONEYLOVE - honeylove.com (20% Off With Code VELVET) FACTOR - factormeals.com/velvet40 (Use Code VELVET40 To Get 40% Off Your First Box) ONESKIN - oneskin.co (Use Code Velvet for 15% Off For A Limited Time) JUNE'S JOURNEY - (Download June’s Journey For Free Today on Apple iOS or Android) ADVERTISING INQUIRIES - Please contact [email protected] MERCH Available at - https://www.teepublic.com/stores/behind-the-velvet-rope?ref_id=13198 Learn more about your ad choices.
