Toni Burnham - DC Beekeeper Alliance / Urban Beekeeping (006)

We've invited regular Bee Culture contributor, Toni Burnham to the podcast to talk about the DC Beekeeper's Alliance and urban beekeeping. Urban beekeeping is on the rise as demonstrated by the membership growth of the DC Beekeepers over the past couple of years.

Join Jeff and Kim as they discuss with Toni the various activities of DC Beekeepers including the education of beekeepers and the public, history of DC beekeeping, challenges and what's next. Whether you are a beekeeper in the city or country, Toni's interview will give you plenty to think about in how you can promote bees.

You can find out more about Urban beekeeping from DC Beekeepers, or emailing Toni at [email protected]. (Of course, you can also follow Toni in her regular column in Bee Culture.)
