The Portrait Of Christ In Job 23– Part 34 (B)

Reflecting on, Job 23 is not a direct prophecy about Jesus Christ, but it contains several themes that beautifully foreshadow Christ and His work. From the six (6) implied realities about Christ, the four covered are as follows: I. Christ the sought-after Mediator (3) II. Christ the perfect Advocate before God (4) III. Christ the hidden yet Sovereign Lord (8–9). Thus, the remaining two (2) IV. Christ –The Righteous One Tested By Suffering (10) V. Christ – The Faithful Obedient Servant (11–12) VI. Christ – The Conqueror Of Fear & Giver Of Assurance (15–16). Again, ultimately, these realities should bring comfort to us, presently, as God did, Job.
