While Joe Biden is still pursuing a ban on "assault weapons" here at home, his botched pullout of U.S. forces in Afghanistan has turned into a gun giveaway to the Taliban, with fighters picking up actual battlefield weapons of war left behind or handed over by the surrendering Afghan army.
