NEW COACH, NEW ERA? Cristian Kily González Takes Over Inter Miami | Montreal Preview

A new era is officially beginning for Inter Miami.

Cristian “Kily” González is the new head coach of the Herons, taking over a team desperately searching for answers after a brutal run of results.

On this episode of Battered Herons, we break down the decision to hire Kily González, what we know about his coaching philosophy, the type of soccer he wants his teams to play, and—most importantly—whether he is the right manager to get this Inter Miami roster back on track.

What changes could we see immediately? How could his arrival affect the starting XI? Can he fix Miami’s defensive problems, bring balance back to the midfield and get this attack producing again?

And Kily doesn’t have much time to settle in.

We’ll also preview Saturday’s matchup against CF Montréal, discuss the lineup we’d like to see, the biggest tactical questions surrounding Miami and what we’re looking for in the first match of this new chapter.

After everything that has gone wrong recently, can a new coach finally change the direction of Inter Miami’s season?
