Dennis Smith Jr. to Miami + Heat Media Day Is UPON US

The Giannis Antetokounmpo era in Miami is officially beginning.

The Miami Heat hold Media Day Monday before opening training camp Tuesday, giving us our first real opportunity to hear from Giannis, Bam Adebayo, Erik Spoelstra, Klay Thompson and the rest of Miami's completely reconstructed roster as they begin their pursuit of an NBA championship.

On today's Battered Heat Fans, we're previewing everything we want answered at Media Day.

How healthy is Giannis entering camp? How does he envision playing alongside Bam? What does Bam believe Giannis will unlock in his game? Who does Spoelstra envision starting? Who closes games? Will Giannis play center? And after making one of the biggest moves in franchise history, how openly will Miami embrace championship-or-bust expectations?

We'll also discuss the Heat's agreement with former No. 9 overall pick Dennis Smith Jr., explain why his expected Exhibit 10 deal isn't the same as Miami filling its final standard roster spot, and discuss whether Smith could eventually work his way back into the NBA through the Heat's developmental system.

The offseason is finally over.

Now we get to see what Giannis, Bam and Spo can actually build together.
