How John Gibbons Landed As The Mets' Bench Coach

For the first time since 2018, John Gibbons will be back in a big league dugout, with the former Blue Jays manager being named the Mets' bench coach alongside new manager Carlos Mendoza. Gibbons joined Bradfo for his first interview since the appointment, explaining how the hiring came about, how he views this new challenge, and what what it was like being part of those mid-80's Mets teams. The always-entertaining Gibby is back, and back big.
