Why Are The Edmonton Oilers So DESPERATE For Mike Babcock?? Ft.TSN's Noodles | BB Clips

From Barn Burner: Boomer & Pinder with Rhett Warrener The Nation Network

Boomer, Pinder and Rhett are joined by TSN's Jamie McLennan to react to the increasingly chaotic Mike Babcock situation in Edmonton. Just when it looked like the Oilers were moving closer to hiring Babcock as their next head coach, reports surfaced that the NHLPA is pushing for a full investigation into his past conduct before signing off on any return to the league. The guys discuss why this story continues to grow, what the latest reports could mean for Edmonton's coaching search, and whether the Oilers underestimated the backlash that would come with pursuing Babcock in the first place. Noodles weighs in on the controversy, the league's decision to investigate, and whether a coach with Babcock's history should be getting another opportunity behind an NHL bench. Is this a reasonable step by the NHLPA, or is Edmonton's pursuit of Babcock already dead in the water? Let us know what you think in the comments.
