From Barn Burner: Boomer & Pinder with Rhett Warrener The Nation Network

Boomer, Rhett and TSN's Jamie McLennan react to the news that the NHL has cleared Mike Babcock to return behind an NHL bench, with all signs continuing to point toward him becoming the next head coach of the Edmonton Oilers. After months of speculation, investigations, debate and criticism, the Oilers now appear closer than ever to making one of the most controversial hires in recent NHL history. Noodles shares his thoughts on what Babcock could bring to a veteran group led by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, whether Edmonton is making the right decision, and how players around the league may view the move. The guys also discuss the pressure facing the Oilers, why the organization believes a coach like Babcock can help get them over the hump, and what success would need to look like for this hire to be considered a win.
