The Effects Of Sin

Grab your Bible and join us from the Chatham Transition Ministry weekly study. Today we learned the effects of Adam's sin. Adam spiritually died. His act of sin was imputed to all his posterity. Every human being has also inherited a sinful nature, which expresses itself constantly under the reigning power of sin. Our first parents fell from original righteousness and communion with God; the guilt of that sin was imputed, and a corrupted nature conveyed, to all their posterity descending by ordinary generation. From that corruption proceed all actual transgressions. The same corruption remains, though not reigning, in the regenerate.
