OnlyLands Ep. 74: Steve Hilton’s Baffling Ad, Palm Springs’ AIDS Memorial & a Botched Execution

The Friday crew tries to work out who Steve Hilton's mail-in ballot campaign ad was actually made for, then revisits the proposed Palm Springs AIDS memorial whose design drew some very unfortunate comparisons, along with a reported half-million-dollar price tag. From there: doubts about a dramatic airliner plunge, the creepy movies of 1999, Fight Club's Chinese ending, Tennessee's failed execution and whether a robot should flip the switch, and Grok's reply when asked to remove the "fake gods" from a picture. And yes, GART 14 is headed to St. Pete Beach.
