Badlands Media Special Coverage: 10/21/26 - Trump Roundtable on Scam Centers and Cyber Fraud

President Trump hosts a White House roundtable on the federal push against scam centers, cybercrime and the fraud rings that target American families, especially senior citizens. The President opens by laying out how foreign scam networks have drained savings from Americans for years, and says his administration is closer than anyone has ever been to shutting them down. Sean Cairncross, Todd, Mark Wayne for DHS, Johnny, Stephen and FBI Director Kash Patel each walk through their piece of the effort: the Homeland Security Task Force, Justice Department and U.S. Attorney prosecutions, HSI and Secret Service investigations, and FBI operations aimed at criminal networks tied to Russia, China and Iran. Officials also describe working with the private sector and interagency partners to disrupt the money flows behind the scams. In the press questions that follow, the President talks about Russia, the release of an American held there and the role of Steve Witkoff in the negotiations. Here are the full remarks.
