Process is neither good nor bad, but process almost never concerns itself with performance; rather, order, certainty and safety
All process has some overhead, and the overhead is more costly when the activity being modelled is simple. For the most part, processes have to be engineered to be scalable.
Agile is in many ways the antithesis of process, so be especially wary of complex processes that are “needed” in order to implement or execute Agile
