Why the Chiefs’ Justin Tucker Signing Is ALL RISK... PLUS Is Josh Simmons Done in Kansas City?

On The Intangibles, Price Carter and Christian Ainsworth break down the Kansas City Chiefs signing kicker Justin Tucker to the practice squad, the Josh Simmons team meeting fallout, and the Chiefs vs. Broncos matchup in Denver.

Why bring in Justin Tucker, who was suspended ten games last year, to compete with a struggling Harrison Butker? Price and Christian weigh the on-field upside against the PR cost, and whether Tucker ever kicks in a game. They also cover the report that Josh Simmons argued with Andy Reid in a team meeting before landing on IR, and what it means for the Chiefs’ left tackle spot. Plus: the loss to the Seahawks, Chris Jones’s decline, wide receiver trade targets like Brian Thomas Jr. and Josh Downs, and what Chiefs vs. Broncos means for the AFC West race.
