Absolute Taser Incorporated The Latest Podcast From Nick Berardini

America loves the story of a hungry entrepreneur with a dream. But how far is too far, and what forces shape and warp their best intentions? Journalists and documentarian Nick Berardini reports the story of Axon Enterprises and its founders Rick and Tom Smith, hyper-aggressive entrepreneur siblings who tap into the financial opportunity of creating an American paramilitary police state. Rick Smith's willingness to disregard grave safety and public policy issues nearly destroys his relationship with his brother and alienates countless colleagues. Yet, he has become a multi-millionaire many times over - even as more than 1,000 U.S. citizens have been killed by police officers using the company's Tasers.Drawn from key interviews, whistleblowers, and substantial archival materials,Absolute: Taser Incorporated investigates the fraught relationship between the Smith brothers and reveals how their choices ultimately betray the police, the public, and even each other.EPISODES AVAILABLE HERE: Https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-absolute-275471765/ Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support .
