The Argentina Travel Podcast with Camila Duarte is a place-based series about moving through Argentina the way a resident might. Travelling here means crossing rich plains, arid Patagonian plateau and the Andes, with Buenos Aires holding a third of the population. The show picks a location and learns it properly. The range covered includes Buenos Aires, the capital and entry point; Córdoba, one of the largest cities; Mendoza, close to the Andes; and San Miguel de Tucumán, where the United Provinces declared independence from Spain in 1816. Patagonia appears too, a flat-to-rolling plateau with little settlement. The show unfolds over years, returning to places as seasons change and knowledge builds.
