Rasmuson Foundation Grants $1M to Fight Alaska Hunger
The Rasmuson Foundation has granted $1 million to six Alaskan organizations, with two interior-based groups receiving a quarter of the total. Bread Line Incorporated, one of the recipients, secured $50,000, which executive director Hannah Hill described as crucial for their operations amidst rising food prices and reduced benefits. The funds will also help cover increased operational costs and replace broken equipment. The Fairbanks Community Food Bank received $200,000 to replenish supplies and support affected villages.
