Missing Woman's Vehicle Found in Hotel Fire

Mary Jo Evans, an 86-year-old woman missing since November, has been linked to a burned vehicle found at a Glennallen hotel. Despite extensive searches, no new leads emerged until a local resident spotted the missing person post and reported the burned Ford Escape. The vehicle was confirmed to belong to Evans, but her whereabouts remain unknown. The Alaska State Troopers and Fire Marshals Office are now leading the investigation into both the fire and her disappearance. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
