Man Threatens with Rifle at Santa Claus House, Grocery Store
25-year-old Nathaniel J. Caole is facing serious charges after a disturbing incident in North Pole, Alaska. He allegedly drove erratically around the Santa Claus House property, pointed a scoped rifle at a security camera, and made threats against responding officers, employees, and customers. Caole then drove to a nearby grocery store, approached an employees car with the rifle, and paced the parking lot for over an hour. He was later apprehended after hitting an Alaska State Trooper vehicle with a large stick. Caole has been indicted on charges including felony third-degree assault and two counts of second-degree terroristic threatening. His bail and arraignment hearings are scheduled for later this month.
