Laughing to the Brink: Climate Change Theatre

Laughing All the Way to the Brink is a unique theatrical event in Anchorage, Alaska, using humor and storytelling to highlight climate change. Directed by Jack Dalton, the performances, scheduled throughout November, aim to raise awareness about the urgent issue. The title, a play on words, reflects the worlds relentless pursuit of profit despite environmental disaster. The event is particularly poignant following ex-Typhoon Halongs impact on Alaska. One featured story, written by Dalton, explores Alaska Native tribes perspectives on climate change. Performances are held at the Anchorage Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, with a suggested donation supporting climate action. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
