Juneau Residents Propose Tourism Projects

Juneau residents and businesses can propose tourism-related projects for city funding until December 31st. Previous projects, like free downtown Wi-Fi and expanded bus services, have benefited both visitors and locals. The funds, from a cruise ship passenger fee, are crucial for tourism enhancements. Community suggestions are vital, but projects must align with tourism benefit criteria. Submissions can be made through a city web form, with decisions made during the spring budget cycle.
