Good Neighbor Fund Launches in Anchorage

The Good Neighbor Fund, a new initiative in Anchorage, Alaska, officially launched this week, aiming to assist people experiencing homelessness with immediate needs. Spearheaded by resident Kenny Petersen, the fund has already made a significant impact, helping forty-two people with housing and seventy-two with transportation. Now managed by the Alaska Community Foundation, the fund covers a wide range of immediate needs, from taxi rides to appointments to pet care assistance.
