Alaska's Free Christmas Trees: Cut Your Own

Alaskas Division of Forestry and Fire Protection invites residents to cut their own Christmas trees from state lands, free of charge. Popular spots include the Moose Range, but state parks and certain areas are off-limits. The initiative helps manage habitat and encourages land stewardship. Follow guidelines: cut the entire tree, keep it short, and water it with warm water for a greener, longer-lasting tree. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
