Alaska Republicans Nominate 6 for State House Seats

Alaskas Matanuska-Susitna Borough Republicans propose six conservative candidates to fill two state House seats vacated by Tilton and Rauscher, who were appointed to the Senate. Nominees for Tiltons seat include Chickaloon tribal police chief Donna Anthony, veterinarian Sean McPeck, and former Tilton aide Steve St. Clair. For Rauschers seat, Lucas Howard, Gerald Garret Nelson, and John James are proposed. Governor Dunleavy has until December 29th to select, with House approval required for confirmation.
