Alaska Peace Officers Compete for Food Bank Donations

Interior Alaska law enforcement agencies, including North Pole Police, Alaska State Troopers, and UAF Police, are competing in the Alaska Peace Officers Association Food Drive to collect donations for the Fairbanks Community Food Bank. The goal is to help those in need, especially during winter. The University of Alaska Fairbanks Police has already donated 138 pounds. The Fairbanks Police is hosting a separate food drive at Costco on Nov 22-23, collecting canned goods, non-perishable items, and turkeys/hams. All donations will be tallied at the food bank on Nov 24. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story. AI powered. Hosted on Acast.
