Brennan says interest in carbon markets is growing as a tool for companies to achieve their climate targets, even amid a challenging current environment.
"Even though the tactics might evolve in the short term, almost every [Chief Sustainability Officer] that I've seen is upping their investments in 2025 and 2026, not cutting them. But how you deploy and how you talk about that deployment is going to obviously evolve," Brennan says.
