Vesa Iitti on Occult and Pagan Finland

Finland has long been viewed as the land of sorcerers and shamans. Beyond its vibrant esoteric past, the country is rich with arcane interactions in modern times: Freemasonry, Thelema, Occult Nazism, Gurdjieff societies, and pagan revivals. And plenty of UFO activity, shadowy cults, and enigmatic gurus. We explore the light and dark aspects of Finland’s esotericism and how it continues to influence the rest of western culture today. Astral Guest – Vesa Iitti, author of Lightbringers of the North: Secrets of the Occult Tradition of Finland.
