Should councils ban smart glasses from playgrounds?

The AI boom is raising all sorts of fears around privacy, particularly when it comes to the growing popularity of smart glasses. They are the wearable computers that look like ordinary spectacles, but can film and record handsfree, often facilitated by AI. Now, a number of local councils are looking to ban the eye-wear from places like gyms and childcare centres, in response to concerns from local residents they may be filmed without their knowledge.
