Let God Arise!
If you have spent any amount of time with me, you know I love three-word prayers. Simple, childlike, effective ways to talk to God.
Here is a simple three-word prayer: Let God arise (Psalm 68:1). Start your day declaring this truth!
What exactly am I asking God to do?
I'm asking God to rise up and fight my battles for me. I'm relinquishing any false belief that I know how to navigate my life better than he does. I'm choosing to believe that his ways are higher than mine. I'm trusting him to restore what feels lost.
There are promises of God throughout the Bible. So when I pray this prayer, I am choosing to believe that God can arise and back up any promise that he has made in his Word.
The effects of sin leave us broken and in need of a Savior. Our flesh is weak. But God is powerful and says when we are weak, we are strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Today, as you think about your mountains. Problems. Seemingly impossible situations. Cry out this simple prayer: Let God arise! They are not bigger than God.
Then sit back and watch.
See if your enemies aren't scattered.
God will be victorious over your battles.
