The Raccoons Strike Back

Kyle Bukauskas and Elliotte Friedman open this edition of 32 Thoughts with the Maple Leafs’ early struggles and why Toronto can stay patient despite a 4–3 loss to the Kings. They update David Kämpf’s situation, touch on Adrian Kempe’s early extension talks, review notes from the GM Meetings, and highlight Ottawa’s strong seven-game point streak alongside Shane Pinto’s new deal. The guys also discuss concern in Vancouver following Thatcher Demko’s injury, the low vibes in Buffalo with no update on Tage Thompson, and an entertaining Islanders–Golden Knights matchup. The episode wraps with Elliotte’s latest “For You Page” find and a Final Thought honouring the late Larry Brooks.
