From Kempe to Chaos

Kyle Bukauskas and Elliotte Friedman open this edition of 32 Thoughts with Adrian Kempe’s extension situation and why the Sabres have no interest in trading Tage Thompson. They cover a tough week of NHL injuries, the league’s upcoming Milan visit to monitor Olympic preparations, and questions around Andrew Brunette’s pressure in Nashville. The guys discuss Toronto’s five-game skid, Vancouver landing David Kämpf, Montreal’s search for a centre, and the heated moments involving Mark Scheifele and the Rangers–Red Wings finish. The episode closes with Hockey Canada’s Milan considerations and a Final Thought on the Stars’ Hall of Fame Weekend.
